This July we celebrate a very special milestone.
European Expeditions, the customs division that was the seed of the creation of EUROPEA GROUP, turns 20. Initially founded in Cádiz, our company has been growing in size and presence, with offices in Cádiz, Algeciras, Seville and Motril.
Once EUROPEA EXPEDICIONES was consolidated, our CEO, Jesús Otero, surrounded by a team of men and women with whom he has been working throughout these two decades, expanded his service offering, gradually creating three more business divisions.
First it was EUROPEA ADVISOR, focused on consulting on customs and tariff matters. Not in vain, European was, along with Arola Aduanas y Consignaciones, one of the first two companies to obtain the AEO certificate, Authorized Economic Operator, issued in 2008 by the authorities of the Tax Agency. The figure of the AEO has become the reference for customs compliance, as well as security in international trade.
Then EUROPEA IT arrived, the result of the expansion of the operations of the two customs divisions. The needs in terms of Technological Audit and the supply of ICT solutions covered by its own personnel, led to the leap of offering abroad a wide portfolio of advanced technology services, adapted to any business need. Our services make the latest technologies available to small and medium-sized businesses.
Finally, the company’s specific operations aimed at the production chains of the automotive industry internationally have been the focus of a fourth business division: EUROPEA AUTOMOTIVE, based on the “just in time” commitment. With this we guarantee the security and synchronization of customs operations of production chains in international transits, applying maximum performance technology and systems.
With more than 50 employees, EUROPEA GROUP faces its future under the motto with which it celebrates its first 20 years: “Thanks to our team,” highlights Jesús Otero. “Our main value is the people who work with us every day, since 2001. Throughout all these years there have been many: employees, clients, partners, suppliers, customs and transport institutions, port and logistics community. A long list of key men and women over the last 20 years. As it will continue to be,” says our CEO.
Excellent teamwork, our creative force and multiplying efforts have brought us to this moment, 20 years later. New challenges await us, but we are prepared.
