Europa Group, a leading company in customs processing, today announced a campaign to help those affected by the recent earthquake in Morocco. The initiative will be carried out through its business divisions European Expeditions, European Advisor and European Automotive.
As part of this campaign, Europa Group will donate the total profits generated in all its divisions throughout today, Friday, September 22, to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with operations in the areas devastated by the earthquake. This contribution will be added to other solidarity activities that the company has underway, internally and externally.
“The sustained and solid commercial relationship that Europa Group maintains with Morocco has generated personal ties with the Moroccan people, and it is these bonds of friendship that touch our conscience and make us feel the moral obligation to provide assistance to the affected communities. ”, explained the CEO of Europa Group, Jesús Otero.
“For us, it is not just about doing business, but about being part of a global community. In these difficult times, we want to do our bit to help those who need it in Morocco. It is our ethical and solidarity obligation to contribute significantly to the affected areas,” added the CEO.
The Cadiz company has very close commercial relations with Moroccan export companies, in different productive sectors and integrated into international supply chains. In these companies, personal relationships have been established between their teams and those of the Europa Group. The earthquake has caused deep concern among the staff of this group from Cádiz, activating different initiatives to provide aid in the Maghreb country.
